Commercial Fryers And The Much Needed Accessories That Come With It

Commercial fryers are ideal in the kitchen as it can help you produce all of the delicious snacks and foods desirable.  Everything from French fries to funnel cakes to onion blossoms can be whipped up with a fryer.  To ensure that all of your food is properly cooked, there are various accessories that will need to be purchased as well.

The first accessory to include with commercial fryers is a medium shredding blade.  With fryers you will either use a slicing or shredding blade.  Slicing blades are going to make wide, flat ribbons of your food.  Upon adding shred blades into the equation, the ribbon will then be sliced lengthwise.  As a result, you will get delectable curly fries from the combination.  By playing around and trying out different combinations, you will find that using coarse slice and coarse shred blades will make hash browns.

The next accessory on the list for your commercial fryer is a skimmer basket.  When frying foods, you have to understand they will be basking in boiling water or hot oil.  A skimmer basket will assist you with easily removing the food from the hot oil or water.  A skimmer can also be used for stirring or scooping providing multiple uses.

Filter cones can drastically increase the life of your fryer oil if used properly.  It is crucial you purchase paper oil filter cones, which typically come in large packs of 50 or more.  What you will do is drain warm oil into the filter cone and when it has filtered, place it back into the fryer.  This will help eliminate smoking and any unpleasant taste that can arise from old food particles left in cooking oil.

As expected, you will need a filter cone holder to hold the cone properly.  The best route to take is to purchase a chrome-plated steel oil filter holder as it is long-lasting and durable.  Upon draining warm oil into the filter cone, you will place the holder and filter cone back into the fryer for proper cooking.

The final must-have accessory for any commercial fryers is a fry basket.  French fries are a desirable side item for many different meals.  Having a fry basket can help you efficiently cook fries the way you like them for any meal.  You can find single fry baskets and twin baskets depending on how often you will be cooking French fries and how many you will be cooking at once.
