1. An owner who has a business plan and realizes a profit should not be expected for the first 2 years.
2. Location, location, location
3. Good food and good prices, people will pay more for a really good product and will recommend you, but no one wants to feel like they aren't getting their $$'s worth
4. Cleanliness!!!!!!! Attention to details! Windex the glass doors and windows, clean off the window seals, wipe seats and booths down--pick up the napkin dispenser and clean under and clean it too! Attention to detail!! Wipe of the menus also, they get really gross.
5. A staff that is friendly and polite and loyal! If you treat them well, they will treat you even better and customers notice that!
