In every medical center or hospital or nursing home there is always a need of refrigerator as well along
with the medicines because today we have lots and lots of medicines such as insulin, eye drops, blood packets
etc. which need to be r4efrugerated for their best use. These freezers are becoming a mandatory or must have
item, in hospitals. Placing a freezer in a medical center has no fight accept one that is space. Space could be a

medicines stored in these freezers may require a colder temp. Usually used for domestic use. There are
freezers available, which can provide cooling below 409 degrees as well, but price could be a barrier too.
Other point that needs to be considered is the security as these freezers usually contain costly medicines and
also they are of a higher price. Many of the models available in the market do come with a lock I n it, which can
prevent from any discrepancies up to an extent.
May be these are not so fully equipped as the household one’s but these too have racks and shelves which can
be taken out for the purpose of cleanliness. Manual defrosting could be the major turning point as it helps a lot in
these sorts of freezers with such a heavy cooling. Thes3 freezers comes with a combination of refrigerators
which provides a slight touch and gives few additional facilities and also saves energy as there’s no need to
install a refrigerator and a freezer separately.
There are few types in these refrigerators such as a freezer on top and the other one is with the freezer at the
bottom. The refrigerators with the freezer on the top could be said as the top freezer refrigerators and the other
one cold be said as the bottom of the freezer refrigerator.
